How to watch videos on Google nexus 7 or other Jelly Bean devices?

When you are excited to get the long-anticipated Google Nexus 7 ordered on the Internet or you just think you are lucky enough to upgrade your android system to Jelly Bean, later you will find out, Adobe Flash isn’t officially supported in the newest Android version, 4.1 Jelly Bean and then you cannot watch the video with your devices. Users can sideload the Flash APK and enable it via the browser’s settings, then enjoy surfing and viewing media as before.

Nexus 7 that comes with Jelly Bean pre-installed no longer have the Browser app, just Chrome. And mobile Chrome won’t hook up with Flash even if it’s installed. Then you need to install the Browser app from previous Android versions. That, coupled with sideloading Flash, will get you back to normal. Also, you will have to install a desktop server for this app and the Adobe Flash Player app on your phone or tablet as well, but the set up was s breeze compared to Plex. The app itself is free, but you need a yearly subscription to PlayOn to use it after the 14-day trial period. It can work over Wi-Fi or 3G.

Although there are apps to watch video, flash is the best and preferred way for us to watch video on Jelly Bean Devices.

Jelly Bean now available to UK Asus Transformer Pad

Asus customers have it easier when it comes to receiving the latest and greatest software update on their devices. The fact that the company played a big role in the release of the Nexus 7, the first tablet to sport Jelly Bean, certainly helped Asus roll out the Android 4.1 update ahead of other manufacturers. While American folks already got their Transformer Pad’s belly filled with some jelly a week ago, the update has finally reached other variants of the tablet, it seems.

Asus UK has confirmed that they are pushing out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Asus Transformer Pad TF300. This means it’s time to start to frantically check for the update notification on your tablet.

We’re reading scattered reports that the Jelly Bean update for another variant of the Transformer Pad – specifically the WW variant – has also arrived. But right now it seems to be limited only to a lucky few and we have yet to hear any confirmation from Asus. The update has apparently reached folks in Greece, Poland, Slovakia and possibly more.

If you already see the notification, it’s worth to mention that the update may only install perfectly on non-rooted devices that run stock ROM.

US bookseller Barnes & Noble is about to bring its Nook e-readers to the UK. Barnes & Noble's Nook Simple Touch and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight will land on these shores in mid-October, the company said on Monday. Its online book shop will also open its doors to British readers, providing 2.5 million titles, at nook.co.uk. Barnes & Noble has struck deals with UK retailers to stock the devices, both in bricks-and-mortar stores as well as online. The retailers, and pricing for the devices, are yet to be reported. The US version of the Nook Simple Touch has a 6-inch e-ink screen, 2GB of Flash memory, 2GB of RAM, microSD support and built-in Wi-Fi.But what will the UK version look like is still not sure. It is just like Amazon Kindle Fire and it is actually the good news for British people.

The Acer Iconia Tab A110 will arrive in the UK during September sporting a rather attractive price tag and ready to go head to head with the Google Nexus 7.Acer firstly unveiled the Iconia Tab A110 in June, at Computex in Taipei, and it will feature a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 7-inch (1024x600) display, Ice Cream Sandwich, 8GB internal storage and front-facing camera – all for just £179.

Aki’s spells Spell effects range from Damage, to Healing, Defensive Shields, Damage Over Time and Boost spells which combine with other spells (both the players and the enemies’ spells) to produce a greater effect. Each spell derives from each of the 4 elements featured; Earth, Water, Fire and Dream. These elements produce different outcomes when their projectiles meet in battle. Spells from the Earth element are strong against Dream but weak against Water and Fire. Dream spells are the exact opposite to Earth spells in their relation. Water and Fire, as always, are in opposition.

How players cast abilities is simple and highly intuitive, engaging with people’s natural tendency to ‘swipe’ touchscreen devices. They select a spell from a panel of icons situated in the lower left corner, causing a pattern to appear mid-screen. Players then swipe over the line of the pattern which, depending on the accuracy, will result in a successful ‘spell-cast’. If they were inaccurate with their swipe, Aki will miscast and the spell will ‘fizzle’.

As a novice, Aki’s control of magic is good but far from complete. Casting too many spells in quick succession creates a great strain upon the caster, a strain he has not yet learned to cope with, which causes his concentration to slip, leading to the spell’s pattern to move around in an unpredictable manner, making spell-casting difficult. This continues until Aki stops or slows his casting for a while allowing him to regain his composure.

Spell selection, for most levels, is completely up to the player. While there are 24 spells in total, Only 4 spells may be selected per battle, meaning players will need to adapt their spell strategy as the game progresses, and the enemies change. The player will begin with a small number of spells initially, but will gain more as the game progress, through undertaking challenges and defeating certain enemies.

There are 2 primary enemy types Aki faces: Casters and Fiends. Casters, like Aki, are in command of their own magics and will battle Aki with their own spell strategies. This provides the bulk of game play in Runic Rumble.

The second enemy type, Fiends, act differently to casters by moving towards Aki in waves. Players must choose the correct spell element to dispose of each Fiend, an incorrect element leads to the Fiend ignoring damage. If a Fiend reaches Aki, Aki will take damage.

Game play for Runic Rumble is estimated between 2-3 hours for an average player. This encompasses the 20 featured levels and their various ‘challenge’ modes. Runic Rumble also includes a ‘training mode’ which players can experiment with the spells they have unlocked. The relative simplicity in Runic Rumble allows for easy expansion.

Best to use with:
  Sound isolating earbud headphones with mic
- These are practically earplugs now, so don't miss out on what's around you. 
You can use it with just headphones but be aware the microphone used is now your phone. So leaving it in your pocket wouldn't work so well.

How to use:
  Make sure your headset is plugged in.
 Simply start the app, push Start, see the noise level around you, set the trigger level by using your finger to swipe the meter, hit the home button to access your music app and enjoy.

  Phone Calls: Read Phone status (shuts off the audio processing during calls) 
Hardware Controls: Audio Settings, Record Audio (to use the microphone, no audio is ever stored)
